And it is pretty awesome. Got it used from a member off this and it was more than worth the money paid for it. I have it as a SRI for now and there is an increase in power and throttle response. You also could hear it nicely under WOT. I recommend it to anyone looking for an intake.

I put mine on and while i didnt notice much in the way of thorttle response as id expect to, it pulls out so much nicer. maybe you could that thorttlte response but eh....it just made it a whole different animal and i prefer it much...

plus that sound from 3k - 4.5k is glorious. especially when you downshift and it falls right on to the 3k mark. **** i love that.

The throttle response is a tad more responsive, but it definitely pulls harder.

Yeah bro, ive had one for quite some time now. The only thing i dont like about it is that it has to be oiled, but it gives out a great deep tone.

Yeah, but whatever.

It's not that much of a hassle. Just can't go overboard.

Does anyone know if one of them Universal filters will fit in the intake? The one I got is a bit dirty, even after I cleaned it with a filter cleaning kit.

nonononononono.

as you said the injen was a pain to clean and didn't get all the dirt off, right?

my suggestion is get an aem dryflow. and their cleaning kit. no oil= happier maf and TB

just i have no idea what size we need for it. this is what i'm doing when the time comes.

Ok, I'll go and see which one will work and let you know.

This one is a universal 3"

http://www.streetunit.com/AEM_3_DryF...p/21-203dk.htm

It's the same specs as the injen one.

yeah that looks like the one that i'm thinking of. the only thing that i don't know about the AEM is the fact that the injen is slightly conical. that AEM looks like just a consistent size. i don't know if they carry any other kinds.

They don't it seems.

I've searched on AEM's website and that is the only one they have that should fit.

hmmm. i've heard good things about AEM so i'm gonna go with them when my injen goes bad. and you just need to soak their filter and swish it around in some solution then let it dry. no oil.

Yep, no oiling does sound pretty good.

I'm going to order it and let you know how everything works out.
