They are comign out with one soon, i was just at the K&N R&D building and they were prototyping a CAI on my SS, for the SS they said it will give consistant increase of 8HO throughout the RPM band. I think its about $250 american and the prototype will be going into production in about a week or so (if everythign goes well) and it will be out in around a month
and im sure they are working on one for the 2.2 and it should be out soon after the SS's

I think the K&N will be better the length that they are going to to make sure the product is consistent and safe is impressive. I also saw some of the dyno results and it looks like a solid increase in HP.

as to answer penguinPIE, just wait the couple months it may be til K&N releases for the cobalt. its not really priority anyways to get an intake or new airfilter, as the stock is sufficient.
although I can't wait til I can fully BPU the car, im in no hurry, as there is no reason to be.

Thats pretty much the easiest and cheapest mod, next on the list would be exhaust work and engine mods all of which are alot more expensive then an air filter

It's just healthly for your car to have a good air filter.
