Klutch's Turbo build
 

Well it i figured i might as well make a thread seeing how i have almost all the parts and most of everything figured out. I decided to boost the cobalt because i wanted some more power after riding in a SS. Trading on a SS was not possible as i still on my 2007 ls 5 speed. Just trying to make the best of what i have at the moment. The turbo, manifold, and down pipe are in terry's posetion. Thats where ill be going for the day and being tuned by him with HPT. ohh did i mention im a 17 year old high school senior working 2 jobs? :p

-42 IB injectors with custom harness

-Greddy rs blow off valve
-K&N lnf intake
-CXracing charge pipes[/COLOR]
-Glowshift boost/vac gauge
-Glowshift oil pressure gauge
-Glowshift Wideband
-Glowshift triple pillar
-Apexie turbo timer
-Felpro exhaust manifold gasket
-Felpro exhaust gasket x2
-Felpro down pipe gasket
-NGK step colder spark plugs

Any other mods? U should see 8 to 10 psi

You might as well get the gauges all installed too.

don't get a greddy rs = junk got rid of mine cause it kept causing compressor surge

already have it man actually have a pic i forgot. only performance mod right now is a tsudo catback.. but will eventually change. by the end of summer i may even rebuild and go for high boost. if not ill slowly upgrade the parts like intake mani, zzp IC.etc

Still cannot believe no TTR Intake manifold on this build... Seems like any of the big builds like this always have it :) Right 05slowline ;)

You are seriously restricting your car with that 2.2 manifold.

At least Get a 2.4 mani and tb at some point. And don't forget to hook your map sensor up to the injector harness

way better choice than the plastic stocker lol will give you room for setup growth if you so choose in the future

yea i got my decal lol thanks man. i had one and f'ed it up. anyways yes ive been looking into the intake mani.. which if i dont get now i will deff get as future upgrade.. next huge thing will be a clutch.

Make sure it is a KY clutch kit :)

havent really researched yet. mech at work said he will change for $100 in labor done in 1 day :)

what are you doing for Oil and Water lines?

terry is suppoed to get them for me.

does that mean you are using the stock lines? whens your expected build date?

i belive i am. and havent made an exact date yet. shotting for middle-begining of may some saturday there.. we will be doing it in one day.. ill have the IC and opiping mounted for the ride down..
