Hey everyone,

I was set on getting the GMPP Performance exhaust for my '08 LS XFE until I opened my eyes to the beautiful world of two new choices I started to research; Ark N2 and the Megan racing.

I have decided since I found the Ark N2 for $660, that I will purchase it.

My question is this..

Would the 2.5" piping be good if I am going to add a CAI, Header and DP?

..And would I lose any power with 2.5" piping?

I am not exactly sharp when it comes down to the piping size, so any insight would be more than greatly appreciated.

yeah...don't want to go over 2 1/2" piping on an N/A engine...now it you had power from f/i that was pretty high numbers, the 3"....but depends on the power you are making.....but you can get away with 2 1/4" piping as well with the bolt ons that you are saying that you want to add....so yeah 2 1/2" will work nicely...just don't over do it lol

 

I would go with the GMPP, its cheaper and you really don't need more that 2 1/4" on a 2.2 anyway.

 

i was talking with the people from ark and they aren't doing the N2 right now, only the DT-S
