just go get an injen. cold air and short ram. no check engine codes, and the sound is amazing.

or $200+ injen, AEM, K&N intake.

Only time I had a CEL from my ebay intake was when the little hose came off from the engine.

Yes they are well worth a quarter of the price. I had no problems in 8 months. Loved the quality and sound. Buy 4 of them compared to 1 AEM.

advancedjdmparts.com they have them for 64.98 shipped just ordered mine last night the only thing that sucks is it does not come ith a filter but for the price you can still go out and buy a good filter

Advanced JDM has their intakes in finally? or no? If their in buy from them dude, or just build your own, not hard at all.

Filters not that expensive only 30-40 bucks.

just know that the ebay ones dont come with instructions so if your a first timer might not be the greatest idea......and by the way x2 on the injen remark best intake on the market for the 2.2 i have one on mine and love it

i agree with the injen but i went with a zex wet kit and a ebay intake i think ill have more power that way instead of just havein the injen i plan on savein up for one in the near future or finding someone selling a used one

i personally don't like messing with FAI or spray so i m just stickin with all motor lol but that would be the smart way to go if you were gonna spray just in case something ***** up your not out a 200-300 bucks take a look at what i mean

ive seen that a million times plus im prepared i already have a spare intake manifold and just cause that guy got unlucky dosent mean everyone will theres pleanty of ppl on here that have been runnin nitrous for years without that happening i looked up on this for months before i decided to do it

Also with the eBay intake I had to get bigger hose clamps because the ones provided were a bit small. There is also a how to on here to install a cai and it helped a lot for it being my first time.

oh also remember that the 2.2L can only hold 250hp if your really looking into modding it. you go over that and bye bye connecting rods lol but i don't think theres a bunch of 2.2s out there putting that down theres only a couple on here that i ve ever seen

who said i was goin over 250 im only runnin a 75 shot and ik about the weak points of the motor i just told you i researched it for a couple months before goin with it i just want to be at 200 hp this year and this was the cheapest route i had a sc that only needed a couple more things but money got tight and was forced to sell

if you read the description man he had a problem with the window switch causing a fuel leak? which led to detonation. he wasn't spraying at that moment.

ya this is true but he had it engaged and the faulty window switch caused the fuel to puddle in the intake my ? is why was it engaged for first gear i already have traction problems stock
