Loud Pop when turning all the way Left

Hey guys, I don't have a whole lot of knowledge about cars, and my cobalt is the first car I've owned/modified. I'm having an issue, hearing a popping noise, that seems to be coming from my left wheel well, when I turn completely to the left.

Now, I didn't hear the noise over the winter when I had steelies on, and now that I put my summer rims on, I hear it. (I think I heard the same noise last summer but I can't remember if it was the same noise or not). Anyway, I also just lowered my car on H&R Sport Springs, but I don't know how this could cause the issue.

Basically, just wondering if anybody has ever heard a similar noise and what the problem/solution was!?

Mine make noise but ive been told its my sportlines binding. idk. Sounds like your spring may not be seated on the strut right.

my buddy suggested that may also be the issue. but it only happens when i turn left, and noise seems to only come from the right front wheel well, so perhaps that spring is not seated properly like you said

Yea I know my drivers side isnt seated right but its maybe a inch from where it suppose to be, the thing must have moved on me when i tightened it back down. Im not gonna worry about it though not making any noise that would be related to that.

Does it happen more when backing up? If so check and see if the tire is hitting the side skirts in the back of the fender well.

Whenever there is a pop or clunk when turning the steering wheel its almost always a balljoint. Check the tie rods and lower control arm ball joint for wear.
