LOUD squeal from engine bay HELP!!

Today at work i tackled the supercharger and dual bypass with the owner of the company ( edited for millenium man below) while on the clock. I put the polyphenolic gasket on, option b and the endplate.

The supercharger was dismantled, i put a new coupler in, the ZZP green one, along with some new needle bearings, cleaned the case up, assembled, and it spun very freely, no rubbing anymore and butter smooth. I put the car back together and started it. and this is when it went wrong.

The start up, went flawless, key in ignition, turn key, but the sound that came from under the hood was horrendous!!, i work around grinders all day and am fine,, this squeal was ear piercing! rough idle and sounded like there was something grabbing and stopping rotation?

Im not surew what i could have done wrong, since it was a disassembly and reassembly the same way. Please shoot me any ideas, maybe theres another thread about this? i googled with no luck, al my searches showed up as bad coupler, is it possible to put on backwards? mine is brand new and was a tight fit.

I have had the supercharger off before and work with a machinist that helped seat the needle bearings in the back of the case. When i drained my sc oil, about 3 oz came out, i put in about 4 oz, I know that this discussion comes up and all hell breaks loose n it, iv read from 3 oz all the way to 8, so i put a little more than what came out of new fluid, and reused about an oz of the old stuff, since the bottle i had blew up in my trunk.

Any help will help out a lot

Unless you work at a performance shop your boss is a dummy for paying you to work on your own car and probably screwed up the needle assembly

im not going to get into detail about what we do, but im sure if he can design an engine from absolutely noting and the ONLY thing wrong with it is off a few degrees of timing, im sure he can put needle bearings in. and your just jealous that your boss wont pay you AND put his projects aside to help you fix your car. so all in all it is what it is, i noticed i posted this in the 2.2 section, so have fun driving your yellow automatic slow 2.2 back and forth .
