im ordering some ksports tomorrow. much cheaper and i heard they not that bad. ive heard mixed reports about sportlines. some say its the worst ride ever and other say its smooth as butter.

but heres the link to the ksports:
http://www.neverenoughauto.com/index...roduct_id=3197

and i hear ya, im 17 too and dnt make the moni to get struts right now, but from what i hear ur good. of course the struts will go quicker when dropped then wit stocks. but from what ive heard theyll last a while, so im jus gonna drop it and when i save up some money get new struts, but thats in the future.

what im doing tho is since im not puttin in new struts, im gonna get a strut tower brace, to help give the front struts from extra support.

they dnt drop it much. umm, the ksport coilovers are in alot of magazines from what i heard and they are gettin into alot of racing, such as formula one. so they must be pretty good. so im guessing the springs are just as good. 2-2.5 inch drop. ride quality isnt horrible. and theyre alot cheaper. so imma go wit em, if i dnt like em ill jus take em off n sell em n get sportlines or something. but im sure ill like em. lol. im ordering tomorrow if i have the money. so when i put em on ill let u know, but that wont b for a couple weeks. i'd check em out, order em n if u dnt like em get some new ones. i was thinkin about gettin the prokits cuz i didnt want a crazy drop but its such a small drop its not worth it.

theres my rear wheel gap with the ss/sc spring, id say it lowered it about 3/4 of an inch all the way around, and improved the handling a ton

these are all great responses

are the sportlines a rough ride and is that all you put on?

how do you like the ride with the k sports is in rough and is that all you added?

i ordered KSPORT springs about 2 months ago and it looks hot, not a lot of ppl have dropped cobalts so i kind of stand out by where i live. I say go for it, the ride is smooth for the most part but if u drive over train tracks(depending on tracks) your gonna feel but other than that, its a great thing to make your car look nicer

Go with the KSPORT, you wont regret it, mine is 2.5 in the back n 2.0 in the front.

I got sportlines... ride quality is just about the same as stock, a little rougher only over bumps, very slightly though. Don't let anyone say the ride quality is **** cause they're wrong. I'm coming from an ss/sc so it was rougher from the factory then your car prob...

I have my stock springs for sale with the lowest mileage you'll prob see (only a couple hundred miles)... PM me if your interested.

I have Koni's and Sportlines.

Great ride, of course its gonna be a little rougher than stock but thats the price you pay for losing that monster truck wheel gap.

I have TenzoR springs on mine.....the ride can be bumpy at times and other times its smooth....but i rather like the bumpy ride....my first car had stiff suspension so im used to it....but id recommend the tenzo springs....i got them from a local cobalt owner but they came from Gravana....just my $0.02

You and me need to get some 18s to fill up the rest of that gap.

The drop's nice but 16 inch wheels just don't fill it up.

yeah I thought about putting 225/40/18 in it but I'm afraid that the tires might scrape on the fender when making sharp turns (U-turn) maybe I'll get 17s
