ls4 TB on a 2.2

I was wondering if it would be possible to install a ls4 TB on a 2.2. or would that be overkill for it?

most of the lsj guys that have it say it makes the throttle way too sensitive and end up selling it so I don't think it would be helpful on a 2.2
2.4 is pretty much the only upgrade worth it

Definitely be overkill plus you would have to make a custom adapter for your intake mani. ZZP sells one that will allow you to bolt up an LSJ tb but since the LS4 is even bigger than that it would not open properly

ls4 would never work with the 2.2 or 2.4 mani opening on the TB is way to big now if u were running like the TTR one go for it but running that NA would be stupid anyhow

bigger injectors, cold air intake, gasket matched header, and just ordered new fuel rail pump, cams, springs and retainers, and have pistons and rods

From what most people have said the throttle body doesn't seem to make a big difference anyway, it's the manifold itself that gives you the good gains

This. LSJ TB is already larger than the intake manifold opening

Just out of curiosity, why are you spending all the money on the stuff in your earlier post when you could just go forced induction and spend less money while also making more power

because if your smart with cars you build your motor from top to bottom and then put turbo kit on. cause if i just slap a zzp stage 3 kit im limited this way i can really open the kit up and run more then a lowsy 10lbs of boost

Gotcha. At first it sounded like you were going for a high horsepower N/A ecotec which is a waste of money

First off there are many High HP NA ecotech builds on here that have made some decent numbers, i can think of 3 or 4 already especially for the weight to power ration for NA cars. Now go you get the same bang for the buck of going FI? Hell no, but I still had fun doing it.
