hmm i thought the 07 2.2 uses a header that looks like the LSJ but the exit is different. check out the collector and compare it to the LSJ one. I'm pretty sure the 2.2 one has a D shape while the LSJ one has an O shaped collector

You sure it is exactly the same? Are the casting numbers the same? Can you post pictures of your 07 L61 mani and the LSJ/LE5 in side-to-side comparisons? The 2.2 is supposed to have a redesigned exhaust manifold but it is not supposed to be the LSJ/LE5 manifold. Should have more bends in it when you look at the side shot.

Get this cleared up!

LOL I didn't even catch on that you had an 07...but yes this has been known for quite some time.

the manifolds are the same but I'm pretty positive that the downpipe and exhaust are different.

I think everyone missed this....the 07 2.2 has a redesigned exhaust manifold. It is NOT the LSJ/LE5 manifold! My point is that we need to stop saying the 07 up 2.2 has the LSJ/LE5 exhaust manifold. The 07 up 2.2 manifold is not a direct replacement for the 2.0/2.4 manifold as it does not have the O2 bung.

Wasn't specifically addressed at you....too many posts lately state the LSJ manifold is on the 07 up 2.2. That is incorrect. If it keeps getting stated then people will consider it a fact.
