lsj throttle body on l61

so I'm trying to plan my turbo build before i just start ripping my car apart and I'm gonna use the throttle body from the lsj. Anyone know how to make my 6 pin harness go onto the 8 pin connector on the new throttle body?

Wiring up the LSJ Throttle Body:

The following wires need to be swapped:
Yellow <--> Brown
Tan <--> Dark Grey
Blue w/ Black Stripe <--> Tan w/ White Stripe

The green and purple wires remain untouched.
There are two tan wires, however if you look closely one has a white stripe its pretty difficult to see.

they use both. Mine (an '06) has an 8 pin harness, whereas interviewatruins (an '07) has a 6 pin harness. We think '05-'06 cars use the 8 pin and the '07+ cars use the 6 pin, since they also use a different ECM

Also, if you have an 8 pin harness, beck's wiring diagram wont help, because while the 2.2 and 2.4 TB are interchangeable, they have different color wires, so you wont know which to swap. In my supercharger how-to, I list the wires that need to be swapped to make an LSJ TB connect to a L61 TB by color, and have diagrams showing which wires as well

To the best of my knowledge, no one has swapped a 6 pin TB with an 8 pin. I have the wiring diagram for both 8 pins listed in the how-to. If you can get the one for the 6 pin (Vince at Trifecta has them), then im sure you can figure it out

Ok guys, here's what I've figured out thanks to some info from another member. I haven't done it on the car yet but I'm gonna try it soon. It seems like they used the same color wires and everything.

looking at my diagrams, that looks correct. Solder connections B and G together, and solder connections C and H together, and you are left with 6 wires to connect to your current 6 pin harness. You will need to buy an 8 pin wiring pigtail for the LSJ TB though.
Here's my diagram

I have an 07 cobalt with the 8 pin tb harness. I'm going with a ls4 throttle body that has 6 pins. Would taking 2 pins out allows and connecting those 2 sets of wires work? Will it be able to plug right up without any other modification?

Edit: Nevermind, I just checked my ls4 tb and it has 8 pins

it's a work in progress. I'm slowly gathering pieces until I'm sure I have every angle of this thing planned out. Still need to figure out which exhaust manifold I'm gonna use though
