Exclamation Magnaflow Exhaust Question!

Ok guys I have a question for those of you that bought the Magnaflow Cat-Back from Magnaflow or ebay for that matter. Here is my dilemma, I just got my cat back from mandrelexhaustsystems.com today and i looked at the Magnaflow muffler that came with it. well its a straight through (pics below)design. Yes I will be welding in a resonator to this system. Here is the question; When you guys got your cat back from magnaflow, was it a straight through design or did it have baffles inside to restrict the sound more??? I am just curious because I dont want anything that is going to be stupid loud, or sound like a bee trapped in a pop can while going down the road. Thank you for your time.

^^see the carpet on the OTHER side of the muffler....

ok...i wondered because if you buy the cat back FROM magnaflowit show the tip coming out of the center for the exit, but the entrance on the other side is offset to the right of the car. I figured it was the same as mine but i figured i would ask

Here's a pic of my exhaust from mandrelexhaustsystems. I got a different muffler, and like Maven said, it is straight through as all magnaflows are. I don't have it on yet, but i will in a month or two due to weather

Youre not paying the price, a name brand stainless exhaust is twice the price.

You cant go wrong for $330 for full stainless.

thats the same exhaust i'm gonna get but i'm going to try the borla muffler instead of the magnaflow. They said the borla has a more agressive sound so i'll just add a resonator to prevent rasp.

i got my exhaust from magnaflow and it was straight through just like that... i would definatly recomend a resonator( never and i mean never go catless) they sound like junk! good luck with the install its a very nice system overall though. BTW i went catless and it was a huge mistake ( i just punched it out because it was clogged) but i am definatly wanting a catted dp.

My catless system sounds pretty nice actually, but that's with a stock lsj catback. With a 2.5" it probably would.
