I m also curious about this, I d like to find out which muffler is used for the gmpp touring cat-back, and put that on, maybe with a second resonator also, just to make sure it isn't to ricey sounding.

you're doing that just for sound, right? because it's not really going to help performancewise at all.

not really. i'm just saying don't expect much is all. the stock piping is very, very restrictive, and without changing that out you're most likely not going to even feel a difference.

Just like they said it won't help with performance, but it will sound pretty good. I had a Magnaflow muffler on my Cobalt and it sounded pretty good. You might just want to keep your money and get a catback though. I am speaking from experience I wasted 100.00 on that dayum muffler only to get a catback 8 months later.

i have a magnaflow muffler on mine...its one of those straight piping muffler...than it says magnaflow on the very tip..bough it for 30 something dollars...sounds alright...but on stock piping...sound is all you get...trust me...i have it on my stock exhaust piping...and there is no performance agins...i'd say only do this as a temporary mod until you get the money for a exhaust(which is what im saving for)

when i first got my car i wanted to HEAR it. i got a generic muffler from my local shop had alot of baffles to it didnt sound ricey sounded deep and popped alot which sounded nice letting off the throttle. but like all just "adding a muffer" it doesnt add maybe more then 2 hp at the crank lol its not worth it. sounds good but wasnt worth the 120 bux i spent. just go and buy the magnaflow from modern performance cat back for like 550$ soooo worth it. sounds amazing and i got like 10hp and 7tq from it at the wheels. dyno proven. =D
