Question Mandrel Exhaust & Eibach Suspension

I'm thinking of ordering from Mandrel Exhaust, I've seen mixed reviews (some hate em some love em) and their prices are really good. I'm lost on the difference between 2 bolt flange and 3 bolt flange? I was told only the TC had a 3 bolt flange but I just wanna know what that means. They also offer borla, magnaflow, or vibrant mufflers... which one would have the deepest tone and sound least like a ricer? (I hate those fart can sounding cars) Theres also an Eibach suspension kit for about 470$. I'm not looking for an autoX champ suspension setup, but will this be good enough to make the corners and windy roads feel more firm? And I'm stuck on whether I should get an injen, weapon r, or k&n intake. I did wanna short ram but now I'm leaning more towards cai just from what ive been reading. Any suggestions?

You can see the flanges here. Bottom right is the flange for any non TC cobalt catback. The ss/tc has the 3 bolt flange next to it.

As for mufflers on the catback, my magnaflow is very loud and sometimes raspy but I'm catless and supercharged.

Suspension, are you talking about just the springs or the sway bars as well?

Well I'm just a 2.2 LT, so you think I'd be fine with the magnaflow? I dont want it too be obnoxiously loud, and as for the suspension, i found i could get the eibach pro springs (lowers 1.6 in' for the front and 1.8' for the back) and the anti roll sway bars for the rear for $440, are both neccesary for a firmer ride??

NEPA, is close enough to me that I can tell you I have a set of eibach sportlines and I am not super happy with them. I knew these would not be the best choice but I expected more. They are pretty good for daily driving, but when you start hitting uneven back roads the get a little unsettled. As for they're swaybars save your money. If you are close enough to bucks county and wanna meet up and feel the ride hit me up.
And go with a short ram, car drive better.

BLKLS sounds sweet man. And yeah I think I'm gonna go with the k&n typhoon sri. Im gonna do the tb nd i.m. first tho (getting them shipped for 235$) then from what I've been told through the forums my money would be best spent on a cat back. I found a pacesetter for 260-ish but its not stainless, and I've been told by some that i'll be fine and others said it'll rot out quick...

Anything that isn't stainless is a waste. Stock catback is stainless and it is for a reason. Stainless helps exhaust flow by keeping the heat in and obviously it also doesn't rust off.

Stock exhaust is 409 stainless, same as many aftermarket catbacks. I think ZZP is the only one with a higher grade stainless and it's 304. Don't know the difference exactly, but my catback is 409 stainless and has some surface rust, my header and downpipe are 304 stainless and have absolutely zero rust even after going through winter. The only way you can even tell they are used is because they have discolored from the heat

Just get a cheapo ebay catback!!! had mine for 9 months and love it paid $160 shipped! fit perfect!!! And Eibach pro kit (unless sportlines) does NOT drop a base model very much, I think you might be disappointed, seems like the most liked spring on here is the CM Springs (Canuck Motorsport) I believe they are under $200 and ride ok, and have a good drop.

Love my cm springs. A little firmer than stock at first but not uncomfortable and for the price you can't beat the drop and the better handling.

Yep. I got the long tube with a 2.5 exit, bolts right up to the lsj exhaust. Loud when your on it. It quiet enough to drive everyday, no drone. Mine tends to bang where the exhaust goes over the axle on the body of the car, mostly when the AC is on at idle. I think it's cause the 2.5 exit on the header is a little longer then the 3 inch. Not much you can do about it. I have an ls. Fits fine.

08-10 SS Fe5 shocks and struts are a must if you want a firmer ride. Along with new strut mounts. That eibach kit is a rip off. Buy some ssc springs from zzp and either a Powell or ttr rear bar if you really want a rear bar. If you decide to put a bigger front sway bar on or not, moog endlinks for the SS Fe5 suspension are a nice improvement also. Stock cobalt exhaust systems are not stainless steel either
