I have 23k on my balt only intake and exhaust trying to decide is it worth modding before i rack up miles. When has the most problems occured for you guys with the older l61's amd what went wrong?

 

I have a 06 w/ about 50k... Only issue was the thermostat went out around 35k and stuck open so I maxed out at around 165*.

I have acutally read if you plan on installing a FI system you should wait 20-30K miles before you do so. I plan on installing a blower next summer, I'll probably be 60K or more by then. If you plan on dumping the car I wouldn't mod it at all.

 

that works out perfect for me then itll be paid poff by then too so hopefully a turbo or procharger setup
