so you drilled holes into the bottom of your stock air box, hm...not really thinkin you need to reset the ECU for that one.

just take out your intake resonator if you want more sound.

what is the resonator and will it do anything if I take it out. more sound would be nice but if it jacks with mpg or voids anything i don't want to do it.

Stay tuned. I will be turning the CAI world upside down with my modded air box. It will give you more power than a Aftermarket CAI, you will be able to simply protect the car too with ease in rain and so on or for winter. and it wont destroy the box you will be able to put it back to stock. it can be done with paper element or for better peformance a K&N drop in filter. Stay tuned. If you were thinking after market CAI. wait a month. by the end of June I will either have plans or the product.

just take off the passanger side front tire and pull the fender all back and remove the extra tubing from the fender and your car will be 10x's louder and have more pickup.

This just Sucks as an Idea.. It's like "El Super Cheapo Crapo Garage"

You would get more respect from me if you used a Dryer Hose and some Rubber Bands..

So you're saying we have a BONG down inside there, same as we did in the J-Bodies? Just a big mess of crap black tubing underneath the stock airbox? I've been too lazy to pull the passenger fender liner off yet...

i just got done taking off my intake resignator off of the airbox, and it gives it a tiny bit more response and a little more engine noise at around 3k RPM's the most.

free mod for sound i guess.

pain in the anus to get that plastic clip thing out though..

Are you for real?

I just jacked the car up and put it on blocks so I could crawl under it... all you got to take off is the plastic stuff that just snaps together with those pins...

just don’t reroute the pipe to make it ram intake your car will not like it and cut your power as to not let a bad mod hurt the motor... smart car keeps things safe.

Really you shouldn’t mess with the stock intake it is good and you will only end up giving yourself trouble… even a lot of aftermarket performance intakes screw stuff up. This is why when Intense did the tuning for our cars they left the stock intake as is… it’s just too touchy.

After researching i wanted to see imo if taking out the airbox plastic tube out would change anything. Well its alot louder but better sounding but it was a pain to get it out. For a while that tube was rattling an i never knew what it was til today. Why did gm have the opening facing up an not down towards the road more. Mine had water coming outta mine. Later im going to get intake tubing an get better air flow.
