need help

well i finish building my motor and started driving it. day 2 i was driving it and oil light came on. checked it and it was full on oil. i found i had no oil pressure and no oil going threw the filter......


does anyone know where i can get a oil pump for the cobalt besides dealer or atleast any idea on what i should do....

go to a junk yard and see if you can find one, and isnt our oil pump chain driven? not to sure im not to much of a expert on engine internals, might wanna check that out...or was it out water pump that is chain driven...lol...but a good place to start would be a junkyard, i know here locally we have a junkyard with 2 ecos already out of the cars ready to be taken...that or call CED or gm parts direct, see what they can price you one for, usually less than what the dealer will charge
