NEW Cobalt 2.2L Ecotec Intake (Short Ram)

Hey folks,

Our new Chevrolet Cobalt 2.2L Ecotec Short Ram Intake should be released within the next few weeks now. I figured I'd make a post to see how interested you guys would be before it's released! I also wanted to give the heads up...

Our price is going to be $159.99 plus shipping - total of $169.99 Shipped anywhere in the United States.

Check engine light? NOPE! Bogging down? NOPE!

The sensor will physically screw right into the pipe in the same exact stock location.

Stay tuned...I'll be posting pictures HERE in this thread when everything is ready to go. Please also stay tuned to our website for more information: MaximumBoost.net

glad to see you are putting more quality in the intakes now, and short rams are nice but its hard to pay that much money for something without a dyno chart to show gains, i believe if you post up a dyno chart then you would attract alot more interested buyers. also give us some installed pics and that would help

Hey Frank I see you have the problems fixed. I was wondering since you would not give me a full refund for the bad one you sold me, can I use the money you owe me towards one of your exhausts for $149?

He ordered an intake from us and he wasn't happy with it. I told him sure, send it back and we'll give you the refund but we still have to charge a restocking fee. He told me that he did NOT want to pay the restocking fee, but it's our policy, and I can't bend the policy for customers, otherwise everyone else will do the same thing

But yeah man, e-mail me and we'll discuss that: admin@maximumboost.net

How about some HP and Tourqe #'s. Everytime someone asks this question on one of your posts you don't have an answer. Not trying to be a dick but just want some solid #'s and I will get one.

I'm not sure why you say that. I've made numerous links to our boards with information about getting dyno numbers (on the other topic about the 2.0L Intake).

See your point Frank, but I have to admit, I would have a problem with a restocking fee on a part that did not work.

Thank you!! Finally someone agrees with me. After I called and told him I was sending it back, 2 days later it was taken off his site (Cavalierextreme.com)

If it wasnt a working intake and he returned it then you DO NOT charge a re-stocking fee... Re-stocking fee is what you charge when someone returns something becuase they "didnt like it" just amke you poilicy no returns if opened and then you dont have to worrry about it you wil only get return on broken items

The intake did not work, got the CE light and got message that said POWER LOSS and the engine made funny noises. Took it off right away and sent it back to him. So I ended up spending 2 S/H fees and restocking fee. After the whole deal I think I spent between $150 and $160 and he said the refund will be around $95. I've got the Injen intake now and it's been great.
