Since you are going to pull the head off for port and polish. Upgrade your Valvetrain to get full use out of the Cams. What year is your car?

X2, all boost application of any build/engine in the ecotec field should have one.

Even NA with stage 2 cams the TTR Manifold would be nice for top end.

I've heard bad stories about the lightweight alternator pulley and underdrive crank pullies. A weapon R secret air intake? Uh get a real intake like an injen or K&N. If you port and polish you might as well do head work as well, new valves, retainers, springs, etc.

I do agree here an Injen or K&N intake would be much better.

i really never heard anything bad about them but its one of those good bang for your buck mods imo so il take the chance. and dont be hating on my intake i like the gains i get from it ive been faster then other balts that had the same mods and trifecta tune and i would always end up faster so il stick with it!

The Alt pulley is prolly fine but I would def avoid underdrive crank pulley's on a street car.

How? its not forcing the air in at high rate its still naturally aspirated just giving it a little "crack"

Take it from me do not buy the weapon r intake. It doesn't fit correctly without making modifications and piecing together you're own elbow from the tb. Go with the injen or k&n, everyone I've looked at fits correctly and looks cleaner. They aren't that much more expensive if you go through vendors on here.

any aftermarket intake manifold is going to take away from the bottom end and give u more peak power, NA or turbo. if ur not worried about some low end loss in order to get some gains in the upper rpms then go with an aftermarket intake manifold but u better be revving north of 6500 roms though, if u are then stick with a 2.4.

i cant believe that expensive gmr manifold doesn't even have radius's from the plenum floor into the port, thats like some Vulcan ****!
