Exclamation No0B!!

hey guys i just got me a 06 cobalt lt 4 dr about 2 weeks ago. and now i love it. it was a "demo" car so it had 5k on it allready but it was still "new". any who i ended up going to my local track and ran it 3 times and my best run was a 16.3 im VERY impressed!! i beat my friends 01 toyota celica gt-s. but back on topic i have 330 bucks. i wanna put it into the car, but a system is a no no cuz well nvm. so what should i get with the money? i wanna cai but i heard aem makes the cel come one. so i was thinking injen?!? i can get one brand new for 250! is that good?? or maybe lower it? or even get my windows tinted? help would be great. thanks chris!

yea its a stick. i doubt i will be doing a turbo any time soon. i allready have doubts about the cai cuz i dont wanna void the warranty. also i wanna tinit my windows and in ohio i believe you can go as dark as you want on the rear but only like 50% on the fronts will that look stupid? also whats is the average time for the 2.2 in the 1/4th for a stick?

well with my short ram ive ran a 15.8 and now have an exhaust so hopefully faster ive seen lower though 15.7 or .6 dont worry about the cai search for the magneson-moss warrenty act in short its says they have to prove with out a doubt that the aftermarket part caused the problem in other words if a cai does something you really messed up putting it on lol

chevy does not care if your cold air intake is causing a cel i highly doubt they will waste there time looking into it

cai is not going to void your warranty. When I got mine I even had the dealer install when I was in for servicing.

I would save your money till you figure out how much money you're willing to invest in your car in total and how much power you're looking to gain (realistically). An intake might be the first thing that people buy but if that's not going to lead you in the direction of your power goal, there is no point of doing so.

250 is way overpriced for tint, try to find a local to tint em for you or try the job yourself, tiny paper is 12.95 per roll
