2.4 Intake manifold conversion kit from CED.com

that would work well.

or stage 1 or stage 2 cam or something depending on power goals

Easy and not expensive, only thing left that even remotely falls into that category (if anything really does ) is the 2.4L intake manifold swap. But you dont need to buy the kit. All you need is the manifold, PCV and TB seals.(I just saved you $75)

you get like 12 hp on the top end. Its a nice mod. You can get a header installed in your garage with some tools. Do it YOURSELF! youll feel better about it.

^ The stage 1 cams would be ok with out a tune for him, correct?
Obviously if so it would still be better with one.

You can get the manifold/seals at a dealer, GMPartsDirect, or just about any other place that sells GM parts.

Are you looking for straight line performance?

If not, the TTR rear swaybar makes driving a lot of fun
Also their solid engine mount, decreases wheel hop and makes for a lot better launches

what do you mean, "now what". You haven't gone anywhere. A CAI does a little, but not a lot. And just the muffler?

1>Get the rest of the exhaust and then ask us this question.
2>These cars have been out for a while, use the search feature. You'll find everything you can do to this car and in what order you need to do them.
3>We'll probably tell you the next best step is Header and d/p, it will complete the airflow advances you made with the exhaust and intake.
4>After that, it's forced induction -- search and find out your options, what supporting mods you'll need.
5>Get it tuned and have fun.

^^ that was pointless

here man, lil_kano is selling a slightly used 2.4L intake manifold https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/parts-66/wts-sale-l%40%40k-138608/

that should help, if you have the dough, I would PM him and buy that, it would be a good modification

take it easy

There are howtos on the 2.4 install, just head over their and see if it looks hard to you. Also $185 for a used manifold is a little steep, you can get a new one cheaper.

It was close enough. You atleast were trying to help and didnt pretend you knew everything like some members.

I am sure Kano bought it from CED and paid more than he was selling it for.
