No offense, but WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?

It is a fine book indeed. I love the company that sells "every body panel" in carbon fiber. Including color matched carbon.

I still dont understand how it will bring the stock to 250. the supercharger only brings it to 200 if that. Then i have to use nitrous to bring it the rest of the way, thats just stupid. And why would i pay 4000 dollars for a 35 HP supercharger.

Just keep your fingers crossed that GM changes their mind and releases a larger S/C for the 2.2L . I wondered the same thing from the tuner guides myself...I mean they're a great tool (btw I posted those links months ago ) but how realistic is nitrous for the average modder...just what I need more flammable materials in my car .

maybe I'm retarded and looking at this guide stupid but the only thing I see is a mention of nitrous and then instructions on how to install a supercharger?!? I see a hell of alot of part numbers but none of them look performance oriented. What am I missing?

My thoughts exactly if that guide is supposed to bring the 2.2L up to 250hp. If that's the case then the recommended 75 shot (if I remember correctly) brings you right back to where we assumed the S/C would put us at...175hp so an increase of 30hp over stock. The funny thing is in the second guide they then recommend the hahncraft (sp) turbo kit (which they are currently working on) to boost it nearly 80hp, ultimately showing the consumer that buying the bolt-on S/C from GMP may not be a wise investment ? I guess unless you're happy with the 30hp gain which I'm sure some of us would be.

neat stuff--a 2.2L S/C with 250hp

I hope they make some part s for 2.4L. I feel that there is defintely some untapped potential in that engine. Header, cams ect.

I may be looking at the hahn turbo system in a month hopefully there will be a little more info out there on it by then. And if its listed in the parts section of the GM book maybe it will be covered by the warrenty.

I was hoping the same thing as well since it sounds like they've tested it on the 2.2L Ecotecs. My one fear is if you look at the picture of the Sunfire on their site the intercooler hangs lower than the cooler and it sticks out like a sore thumb...hopefully this is addressed with the version to be released for the Cobalts.

The cobalts front end is way bigger then the sunfires i cant see it sticking out like that on a cobalt.
