is it possible to move

my air filter on my injen CAI from the front right fender to directly in the center of the bumper where more air can get forced into it. I could buy universal tubing and hoses and what not, im just worried about it pissing the MAF sensor off. or doing more harm to my horsepowe than good because air has to travel that much longer.

it could probably be done with no problem. the major thing is that you are in more danger of sucking in water and damaging your motor.

its getting plenty of cold air where it is. and to do that it would be alot of fabrication and time.

Hahaha! I would NOT recommend you routing the intake like that!

But if you do, make sure to position the cone infront of the air vent, close all other vents and put on full a/c.
Talk about forced induction

not necessarily because my front bumper isnt vented. its solid fiberglass. the only thing i did was cut off some of the plastice thats directly beneath it so air can flow up and in

also, think of it this way, to your car, every 90* angle is like 9ft of straight pipe resistance wise...
you would do more harm then good....
its doing just fine where it is. if you want to force it in then get a short ram with a seal to a hood and get the hood that fits it with functional ram air...then you will be good to go.
