So the other day I was leaving for work and I pull out of the drive way and my steering wheel locks up and its beeping and saying power steering. I like had none at all it was crazy. Restarted it and seemed to be fine.

Anyone else ever have this happen?

Now begins your fun!. Well mainly only one sympton, and that is Electronic Power Steering faliure. Costly little thing to repair. Unless it's warrentied!
Mine wasn't
$886.74 they quoted me, for a complete steering column replacement
I went to a salvage yard, Replaced the motor only(Located under the dash on your steering column)
$230.00 and about 7 minutes labour

 

Well my car had a prior salvaged title so no warranty. My power steering came back though when I restarted the car so. is that what happened to you guys?
