Can't use stage 1 and stage 2 without the supercharger.

You're just kidding, right?

BTW, what happened to automerge?

No problem. The stage kits are basically smaller pullies for the supercharger, new injectors, and reflashes for the computer.

You can go turbo, I don't remember the supporting vendor here that came out with it. Was it TAG or something else. Use the search option on the forum and it will sent right to it.

Be prepared to spend a couple of Ks.

First off, do your homework so you can get a feel for how much power you want and how much you are willing to spend.

Secondly, you can go with bolt on mods for now: intake, header, downpipe, high-flow cat, cat-back, rims, tires, springs, strut bar, rear progress sway bar, etc.

i think you should start small with maybe an intake and then exhaust, it really just depends on how much power you hope to obtain in the long run and also what your budget will allow

i m lookin for aftermarket parts that'll be wise to put on an LT....i think the Garrett has Turbo's for the LT...i think with like the best one it puts the LT at like 195 HP..

i was looking on Chevy.com and they have cat-back exhaust's and another thing that goes with it...are GM parts good or do u htink i should go with something more aftermarkety..?

What I understand is that with the power level that the Garret kit will give you, you won't have to worry about the trans or the internals. However, if you are the sort that want more than that, you need to look into building those, which can add up quickly.

Lets take a deep breath and start at the beginning. Okay, so what kind of power level are you looking for, and how much are you willing to spend?

If your looking to spend around 10k, your LT would be SICK!!!!

10k will go a LONG way!!!

If you are really willing to spend that much, my advice to you is to focus on preparing your car for boost. In other words, focus on strengthening the motor and transmission so that when you go f/i, you won't blow anything up. Also, if you get that far, I would suggest looking into building a custom turbo setup instead of going with a kit. (Also, there will probably be more kits out on the market by then.)

^^^ What he said!
Definately build those internals, beef up your suspension and safety equippment (Brakes, racing harness, etc.) then turbo!

You will basically (with a well built drivetrain) be able to boost as much as you want.
IMO anyway...

Good luck!

Check out this sticky by halfcent: https://www.cobaltss.net/forums//showthread.php?t=27680

It gives all the aftermarket parts for the 2.2L; it should help some.

Also, search for halfcent's engine build. It will give you some perspective; he plans on going turbo when we get tuning.
