Question on the GM Parts
You can go turbo, I don't remember the supporting vendor here that came out with it. Was it TAG or something else. Use the search option on the forum and it will sent right to it.
Be prepared to spend a couple of Ks.

First off, do your homework so you can get a feel for how much power you want and how much you are willing to spend.
Secondly, you can go with bolt on mods for now: intake, header, downpipe, high-flow cat, cat-back, rims, tires, springs, strut bar, rear progress sway bar, etc.

What I understand is that with the power level that the Garret kit will give you, you won't have to worry about the trans or the internals. However, if you are the sort that want more than that, you need to look into building those, which can add up quickly.
i think a Garret Turbo would do just fine...plus a cat-back, and an intake, maybe alil more....that'll give me somehting atleast
im willing to spend...maybe what a cobalt is worth...lol...Around 10k lets just say

10k will go a LONG way!!!
If you are really willing to spend that much, my advice to you is to focus on preparing your car for boost. In other words, focus on strengthening the motor and transmission so that when you go f/i, you won't blow anything up. Also, if you get that far, I would suggest looking into building a custom turbo setup instead of going with a kit. (Also, there will probably be more kits out on the market by then.)

^^^ What he said!
Definately build those internals, beef up your suspension and safety equippment (Brakes, racing harness, etc.) then turbo!
You will basically (with a well built drivetrain) be able to boost as much as you want.
IMO anyway...
Good luck!

It gives all the aftermarket parts for the 2.2L; it should help some.
Also, search for halfcent's engine build. It will give you some perspective; he plans on going turbo when we get tuning.

The stage kits are basically smaller pullies for the supercharger, new injectors, and reflashes for the computer.
