last night when i installed my 2.4 manifold, my brake booster hose was too long. so i drove home from my buddies house without power brakes. i got a long enough hose now and hooked it up and i still have no power brakes. any help on this?

 

Kink in the hose or a leak in the line? Not really sure.

 

i checked for kinks and its not leaking. a cel just came up too

 

its not connected try it again.

 

i keep trying and nothing. do i have to drive around for a min or 2 before they work?

No as long as yhe car is runing you will have vaccum and power brakes. Is there a check valve missing?

 

whats a check valve?

 

i've never looked at our booster line, but some cars have a one way check valve, it allows the booster to build vacccum but it keeps the vaccum from being released.
