quick filter question
quick filter question
Hey so ill start up i did use the search button and didn't get the real info i wanted. so i have a GMPP intake and im lookin to replace the filter with a aftermarket filter and found out that for some reason every out shop i go to looks a me like i just asked how to solve world hunger. ( even went as far as removing my filter in the parkin lot and bringing it inside) i had figured a standard 3" CAI cone filter would do but then comes in the rubber flange being offset etc.etc. Neways if anyone knows a like to a replacement filter for this intake thats not GMPP help me out.
i just lookedat K&Ns site under universal filters and they dont list a single 3" filter with an offset flange. do you happen to know what the actual offset is?
and GM probs did this so no one could put an aftermarket filter on and continue to charge us 50$ for a new filter.
