2.25" is not the stock exhaust size

it wouldn't make sense to replace a stock 2.25" system with an aftermarket 2.25" one would it?

if you have access to a lift its possible but you really have to push up on the car to get it out...without a lift I see it being pretty damn difficult.

Depends on whether the restriction is in the size of the pipe, the design of the exhaust, or the muffler....

when i was watching the guy at the exhaust shop do mine he pushed up on the underside of the body

not sure what else u can do, just cut it...if you need to use it again $20 to have it welded

also yes mufflers could have alot to do with it...but this is more of an economy built car, they aren't necessarily going to put the most optimal exhaust on the car. 1.75" sounds about right to me but I've been wrong before...I've got 2.5" piping and it didn't help me either way so

The piece that comes after the header, but before the cat is 2.5". After the cat but before the rest of the exhaust is 2.25'. Now the the rest of the exhaust is 1.75".

sweet, so i don't even need a downpipe made

although that 2.25" could be replaced with 2.5" to have me at 2.5" all the way back...I'll probably just leave it as is with the Pacesetter.
