Rear Sway Bar

ok guys my buddy and i are making a rea sway bar for my cobalt... any suggestions on the size tubing. and if anyone has a picture of one can you post it so i know what to go off of .... please i would love the help

There are a bunch already. Why are you making one?
Anyways for rear I'm running the TTR 1" and like it. It does cause a little bit of oversteer when it rains/snows so a few mm smaller might be better.

depends on the material/connections, etc. its not just a steel tube

id say make it anywhere from 1" to 1.25" depends on how tight you want your sterring of course

Not for the rear...no bigger than 1"
Personally, I'll be selling my TTR and going with the Eibach f/r bars soon.

yea, the eibach is hollow. the OTTP hardcore bar is even stiffer than the TTR one FYI

yea the tubing is 1 inch tubing so im not worried about that i was just wondering what else is involved...we have a bender so we can bend i just wanna know what else comes with it. soo if anyone wants to post a pic of theres so i can use the pictures that would be awesome... thanks guys

haha well it might be cheap but i also know people who make it themselves save 110 bucks so if i do have a way of getting one for free than why not.........sooooo if anyone wants to help me out on whats involved in the kits you buy and maybe show some pictures that would be great...

basically there is a flat piece of sheet metal with nuts welded to it and that goes inside the frame and bolts go throught the bar into those nuts...
