Reliability to supercharge 115K miles

Just curious to know if it would be safe to run supercharger with stock pulley on my cobalt with 115K miles or am I asking for failure sooner than later. Car is very well taken care of. Regular manitance, never seen the track, and all timing componets (water pump, timing chain, guide followers, cam gears, and etc. for the balance shaft) done at 110K. Still runing stock clutch (which is running very strong). It is my DD, but I think 7-9 psi would still be reliable for DD.

Thanks,
Brad

If you can keep your iat's down and the tune if very spot on (I would deff go with HPT) then your fine. Do you burn any oil? Just make sure you do all cooling mods and exhaust work and you'll be fine.

I check the oil everytime I get gas. No signs oil burning. I am also good on the exhaust side. HPT, since there is a person in the area that could do that for me.

I far as cooling mods go, lots of different options. I think at least zzp front mount HE over the stock HE.

You can run just the ZZP s3 HE.

Engine will be fine. Clutch maybe not.

You should be fine. As stated as long as you do it up right and the tune is good the car will be plenty reliable. Just don't keep pushing to add more power until you do some engine work. I personally have about 88k on my motor and been running a 3.0 inch pulley for about 6-7k miles. Only problem I've had is the clutch wouldn't hold and my tune isn't real great so as previously suggested you should go with hpt
