rod bearings

Hey everyone again. I know I made a post a week or so ago about a motor swap but I think at this point that is not necessary and my motor is still allright. I parked it last october because of a slight knock/squeek that occurred after a 3 hr drive (all highway nothing agressive or beating on the car at all) well letting it sit all winter I decided to get on it. I started it this weekend and let it warm up for about 10 min.... car sounds fine no noise. Now I didn't drive it but I know it must be a spun bearing or starting to. My question is are there a such thing as "performance" bearings like the clevite ones from ttr or will oem ones be just as good from ced? Or the local stealership? My car is supercharged also. Thanks chris

The Clevite rod bearings are a performance bearing. And it would probably be cheaper to buy those than to go to the stealership.

Well I live right by summit racing. And I was being told there's no "true" performance bearing. But the dealership only wants 37 bucks for a full set ttr wants 110 plush shipping..... I don't know what to do. Oh and dealer can have em to me next day
