sc'd 2.2 IAT2 wiring

i have an lsj map i want to wire in so i can read my IAT2's on an interceptor, but ive only seen one diagram on how to wire it and it confused the hell out of me. so if anybody could tell me how to wire the lsj map into an L61 it would be greatly appreciated, i know many have done it. i just dont know how

Take the tan wire on the very end of the MAF connector and cut it off. To make sure you get the right one, the connector should have an A and an E written right below the wires and that is a label for the pins in the connector, you are going to cut the wire that is connected to E. Then you are going to find pin B on your MAP sensor connector because it is labeled just like the MAF. The wire will be light blue (unless you bought a new connector like I did and all the wires are white). So then you just connect the wire from the MAF to the wire into pin B on the MAP sensor. Where at in Ohio are you?

Damn I'm in Bloomingdale about 2.5 hours away or I'd offer to come help out. Not that it's hard just makes more sense when you see it than when you read it lol

Yes you would definitely need a retune for the different MAP sensor but that shouldn't be too big of a hassle. Let me get the wiring diagrams uploaded and I'll take the pics of my wiring tomorrow.

I know the diagrams are confusing but they will make more sense when I take pics of the actual wiring tomorrow.

The red circle is the wire you will cut from the MAF and the blue circle is where you will connect it on the MAP.

That diagram confuses me because the MAF is where the IAT wire comes from and it has 5 wires not 2 plus you really only have to take the IAT wire not the Low Reference

this diagram confused the hell out of me years ago as well when i did this.

on the left is the stock map harness from the LSJ. on the right are two wire harnesses from the le5. the top being the map sensor and the bottom being the maf. confusing part is that the bottom "maf" sensor is only showing the important part you need.... the IAT wires.

it's trying to show you that you need to take only the IAT from the MAF (tan) and connect it into the LSJ MAP pigtail with the 3 from the stock LE5 map pigtail.

The top pic is the MAF sensor and you just clip the wire I have circled in blue. The wire will be the wire on far left if looking at the top of the connector and it will be tan. The wire next to it is also tan so make sure you cut the correct one. Then you just connect that wire you just cut to the wire I have colored red in the second pic (the MAP connector). The wire in the MAP connector should have a 2 above it to make sure you get the correct one. It's simple as that. You will still be looking at IAT 1 on the interceptor but you will actually be monitoring the IAT 2 inside the intake manifold. Do you know how to wire the other 3 MAP wires?

Ohh and don't mind the crazy date on the pics. I just didn't set the date on the camera
