ok guys so how many of you run headers and actually felt alot of difference. i bought the zzp header in the gb and im debeating to just sell it and forget about it and get my money back for it or install it an feel the power. also i had my local performance machine shop port and polish the header from where zzp had welds built up on the inside of the primaries and that should help the power as well, so guys just post your comments if u have a header installed

 

i really didnt notice a big diffrence..i beleive anything under 20hp gain wont be really noticed

 

I have the Clear image 4-2-1 longtube header, its AMAZING...ive shown an incredible boost in perf by feel and on the dyno (increased my hp by approx 12-15% over stock on my LS....like i said....AMAZING!!!

 

i mean i know our cars arent race cars or nothing but i just got the run of the mill car and its auto so im not sure if i want to do the install lol. i was thinking for a while it would be fast but i got other plans to go fast so now im just going with the route of making my car look decent. i got the gmpp peformance exhaust to make it sound nice. so is it just a small increase cuz you said 12-15% increase but whats that in numbers like 10 hp or what

 

what is it?? the stock on my car is 116 to the wheels, with the header, dp, cai (min gains lol) and 2.0 exhaust...i am up to 146

 

I installed a CA header (which I ported the primaries on) and then an XTC Catless DP and def. noticed a difference....

now i just have to fix that pesky exhaust leak...

 

i went with 1.75 primaries...too big for a 2.2, since im going SC soon....but i noticed a loss of low end power and a gain in high end.....i just need my SC now...

 

my car is a 2.2 auto. but i think im going ot just leave it be with my aem cai and gmpp exhaust and forget the header and sell it to break even on it. i could use the money for others things instead so i guess im gonna take pics and post it in the classifieds

 

I noticed a differance with my ZZP downpipe. I have the highflow car as well. It also depends alot on your other mods. Having a intake, header, downpipe, highflow cats, and exhaust is your best bet to feel more power.

 

guys i decided i dont really wnat to bother with the header so im gonna post it in the classifieds sometime tomorrow. im gonna ask for 375 shipped (to the 48states) for the header dp combo

 

make sure you describe it, since there are something like 5 available options for the combo
