I was wonderin if anyone knew anything about the second O2 sensor. I picked up a DP last night and right now i cant install it or i have to welid a second O2 hook up in to it.

 

it does not have the o2 bung built in?

what downpipe is this?

 

i was the seller, it's a 2.5" cobalt addiction dp w/hi flow. When i was taking a look at his car, i noticed that there was the 2nd o2 bung, BEFORE the cat. It still has the normal one after the cat as well.

His car is an 07, with the sai. I have never heard of this 2nd o2 sensor in the cobalt or g5 before last night.

and just for the record before anyone calls me a dick for selling a bum part, i did explain that something would have to be fabbed up before it would work properly.

 

just get another o2 bung welded in.
and get a 18mm? bolt to plug up the second hole that you wont use

 

just from looking at it, i'm not sure that there was enough room on the dp to weld a 2nd bung. I think he said he was going to just try to delete the whole sai, whcih i'm guessing would get rid of the o2 sensor as well.

yeh i am most likey goin to weld one in but i was wounderin if any1 knows any info on it and y is there two of them

 

the second one is to run a wideband I assume,I just put a bolt in mine.
