hey when you switch out the stock harness clips to the 42lb harness clips all you do is cut the two wires and hook them up with the same color for the 42lb clips? right?

Essentially, yes.

You have to remember pink is always going to be the ground, and the other it going to be the live wire no matter the colors.

Well, vulcan doesn't have any in stock, it will take a week or two to make. So, I'm going to keep my dp, and just have an exhaust shop chop it off a little and weld a bend from the exhaust housing to the zzp dp. I just got back from talking to the guy, I'm taking it up there monday morning early. I should be running monday night at the latest!

Right now I'm in the middle of dropping the oil pan, what a bitch!

I got that sealant from autozone, as well as some fittings for the oil lines and for the intake mani vacuums.

actually theres a high temp rtv that is orange...works alot better than the grey...especially made for turbo charged engines with higher temps..

hmm ic I'll see which ones are available, I'm too busy trying to getmy car running again, my lower rad hose tee busted to I've lost all my coolant twice now, and it dripping the third as I type this I did a ghetto fix until Vulcan makes me a replacement aluminum one, no auto store had it, not even the dealer, no local junkyards carry new cars(02+) so I'm screwed till than, I'm reffilling it ever morning only to refill it again the next day, suck my ghetto fix is only temp till I get a permanent replacement here

Oh sentry post pics of ur oil pan, and use some etc in the treads for the drain fitting to avoid leaking

Either going to use some of that, or I might even jb weld the fitting on after it's threaded.

I'll finish up tomorrow, some of those bolts are directly above the frame, no room to even get a wrench in. I'll probably have to cut some of the plastic in order to slide a wrench back there. Fun stuff.

I'm trying to unscrew the oil supply boss from the block, but damn it's on there good. Having an automatic doesn't help at all either, transmission is always in the damn way. I guess I need a longer set of allen keys. Just venting that's all.

Well, I would post "moar" pics, but I'm still stumped trying to figure out how to get this plug out.

Sounds silly I know, but I've wasted nearly all day messing with it. I'm totally lost for words, it will NOT come out!

I've tried a 7mm, but it is too big, 6 mm spins when I try, and I'm quickly stripping it. Any suggestions?

Here's some pics while I sort this mess out.

I see on the manifold you have map sensor, brake booster, then what are the other 2 vac lines going to... please explain need info for my turbo build lol

also I used chanel locks when I took my galley plugs off my engine last summer. Just get a nice grip on the endge of the hex bolt and lock the pliars tight. One quick twist should nock it loose. ya 6mm is too small and 7 mm is too big I have had the same problem

Well, what did you use? You make it sound like it comes right off. I've been working on it for hours, lol.

Please don't make me bust out the easy outs.

well i used the pliars taht lock when tight up lol might be ficgrips or chanel locks I am not sure what they are called. i used the small pair i have got it to lock on the end of the bolt and used like a cheater bar over the handle end of the pliars and slowley losened it up.

I'll have to try that when I get home. If all comes down to it, I'll jb weld the 6mm into the hex nut and then just use vice grips to turn it. And if that doesn't work, out comes the bolt remover, which I hope doesn't happen.

And btw, the other two lines are to my bov and then my boost T, where I'll hook up the gauge and in the future, my boost controller.

Damn you people make this sound so simple, .

Passenger side or driver side? I'm auto, so there's this huge support bar in the way of the other two plugs.

That vice lock trick might work, it looks like there's just enough room to grip the outsides of it.

I'm at work right now, gotta wait til I get home to try it.
