I've read probably every single thread on here about the B&M Shiftplus for an automatic Cobalt.

I want a simple answer to: Will this hurt my car/transmission?

I want to get it, for a little boost to my stock engine while I slowly get bolt-ons, but I'm not about to mess up my car for something so little.

My friend has one and his trans is fine,feels good when its on

 

Itll be ok but if u ever get a tune it will be pointless

 

I will get a tune, for sure, after I've got my full bolt-ons. And then will come the SC.

This is just to hold me over.

shifting should feel like butter, so i don't see anything wrong with this.

 

Is installation simple? Im interested.

 

Look up the how-to, it's as simple as splicing two wires.

 

ran one on my 2.2 with boltons for like two years on stage 1 and 2, no problems, shifted like butter,

 

Have one, love it. No issues whatsoever, took like 10 mins to install.
