so i just got my car back...

from the dealership for the leaking fuel injector... and ever since then ive been having issues with taking the key out of the ignition...

car starts.. runs... everything perfect... turn the car off and it stops and doesnt let me remove the key (almost liek when you remove the battery)...

the headlights dont go off... the interior lights dont go off... it doesnt auto-unlock the doors...

Dont blame the car, take it back to the dealer.

I know the feeling...

I had 2 of my interior trim pieces replaced b/c they were chipped on the ends... but now the piece surrounding the radio is all scratched...

I think I'm just gonna remove them all and paint 'em all myself...

I had a problem similar to this once, the remote wire on my amp short circuited to the power wire on my battery.

The car freaked out and didnt know wether it was running or not.

I could take the keys out of the ignition and the car would still run, without keys!

it took me awhile to figure wtf was wrong, but it was just that little wire hitting my power wire

it was nothing to do with the stereo.. i knew that from the start... the shifter went bad, thats all... luckily they had the parts in stock.

my car will be getting a ForSale sign stuck on it soon

That sucks, man. Mine sometimes won't let the key out, but will turn off correctly. I thought it was just the key.

Take it back to the very place that screwed it up in the first place? Most ppl dont know this but other than warranty work you can get your maintenance work done in other shops that are approved to do maintenance on GMs
