dude the ss/sc dp is so restrictive, your better off buying a catless, or high flow dp. trust me.

for a 2.2 its not as restrictive.

I can see it being a decent mod for the 2.2, considering how cheaply you can pick them up.

I've seen people with dyno sheets proving about a 7-10hp increase on a 2.2 using all LSJ parts!

So for the money and keeping your warranty its worth it!

Got mine for $50 shipped, although it's not common to get them that cheap.

around $100 is an average price, the ss/sc dp is a huge step up for the 2.2 with much larger tubing and a larger cat for better flow. since you have an 06 2.2 the exhaust mani from the ss/sc is an upgrage too, search and you'll find pictures showing why

Stock 06 LS exhaust manifold vs LSJ mani. The downpipe comparison is similar.

Cat-back comparison.

Ahhhhhhh, the chrome tip!!

That's true, I've noticed that most 2.2s that use LSJ exhaust have it hanging out. His looks sharp.

I used the center hole in the rubber hangers, which helps a little. Then used tie-straps to keep it in place. I have driven the car 10,000 miles since the install, and it retains that position.

So everyone is saying i should just get the SS/SC exhaust manifold and dp instead of going after market with a aftermarket dp? If id get aftermarket id get it with a cat because without a cat it sounds like crap. back fires and all that

wow....wtf is with the l61 manifold?? it's all b-tarded at the collector, and the primaries look like a bee honecomb if you look in there...and the pipe is like a metal garden hose.... I just took off the header/DP of my 2.4 if you're looking lol

Yes, '07 2.2's have the same manifold as the SS's....unsure about the downpipe though.

I've got an 07 and the downpipe is pretty small in comparison to my LSJ downpipe that i purchased

Should i buy a catless dp or one with a cat? one without a cat will give me more power but will also backfire

A Catless pipe will be both loud and illegal. I'd still go with a Cat if I were you.
