I daily drive an auto 2.2l. I am considering purchasing the ZZP Supercharger or Turbo Kit eventually. They're the same price. From your experience and knowledge of forced induction, which kit would help me achieve nice power while remaining reliable and safe?

you can piece a blower kit together for alot less than that

supercharging your car will be more reliable and safer. as far as power wise BLAH. turbo will be more maintenance but will net you over all alot more power

 

power -> turbo>blower
relability -> turbo<blower (ive got about 8k miles on mine with no problems
safety -> turbo<blower

if you go for a blower piece it together it will be much cheaper, lots of stuff for sale for s/c setups on here
