I was just about to mention this kit.. YOu could by the base Cobalt, get this stage 1 kit or the stage to and be right up there with the SS as far as HP.. Stage 2 bumps it up to 85 more HP..

Id say header\cat-back\air intake with K&N filter\ and pullies when they become available.. You could always use a 50 shot of NOS lol

20 horsepower shot of nitrous would do the trick
Haha, yeah but seriously. The previously mentioned bolt ons would definetly do the trick, those would get in the area of 20hp I'd say.

Damn, with that setup on there, youd possibly run a low 15 to a high 14, and thats with an auto sedan. things are lookin very good for the cobalt tuners...

Running without the cat will mess up the computer unless you run an O2 simulator in place of the rear O2 sensor. Also you run the risk of not passing emissions testing in your area, that is if you have it in your area.

I wouldn't think you'll see anything for the 2.4 for a little while, since it's a new engine for the cobalt. The 2.2 has been around a while and only minor changes in the last couple of years, but as the 2.4 is out for a while stuff will be out for it....I'd say you'll see intakes popping up first.

I've never really been impressed with RSM.. I think they are over priced and impractical. thats just my opinion though.

tmade, i am guessing you are right. the 2.4 vvt is fairly new, so maybe in the next months or maybe even at SEMA, some stuff will start to creep out for it
