It will work if you get the LSJ intake Mani and all supporting parts.

Make sure the super is in good condition though.

did a little research as well, seems it varies on the year. They seem to come with the m62, and m90.

I think the OP should make double sure it's the M62 then and make sure everything works properly. I know it's only 20 bucks, but why spend it on a broke part or the wrong part all together?

I'm pretty sure the M90 was aftermarket for bonnevilles. From what I remember they had a 3.8L Series 2 with an M62

I guess the answers will be mixed, but I did some searching and came up with M90 as well...I believe that's all the Bonne, GP, and Regal GS came with, but I could be wrong.

The M62 supercharger was manufactured by Eaton, exclusively for the GM 3800 engine. HP was rated at 205 for 1991-1993 engines (models vary), and 225 for 1994-1995 engines.

In 1996 the Eaton Generation III M90 supercharger was introduced and used through 2005. Power is up to 240 hp (180 kW) and 280 lbˇft (380 Nˇm) of torque.

what does the intake neck look like? it could very well look waay different.

I may be wrong, but i believe both the 03 Terminators and 02 Jaguar XJR's both had Eaton M112's, but they look very different. The rotor packs are what make the size.

The blower that the early 90s bonnevilles had is an earlier generation M62 blower. neither the snout nor inlet is the same configuration as our M62s. While it may bolt to the ss/sc manifold, you will have a bitch of a time making it work due to the intake side and snout/pulley not lining up at all.

Keep looking.

thats an M90 in the link. M90's look shorter and fatter than M62s

EDIT: maybe i lied... it might just have a different housing with a shorter intake neck...
its definitely an M62 actually, but it wont fit in a cobalt since the intake neck is too short and the belt driven section is also too short (it wont reach the belt location when installed on the factory manifold)

that's a early gen m62, for 20bucks buy it and re sell it...but it would work on ur car...would need a custom intake manifold, must be made perfect to line up pulley with the rest of the belt system, but if you have the money for that...use a m90 instead :p
