I threw a CEL after some ******** slammed on their brakes and i popped the clutch and for got to take my foot off the gas causing high reving till i realized what i was doing.

autozone said, Fuel System Too Rich (Bank 1)

i know that the bank 2 is the o2 behind the cat, what is bank one? and what caused this. Drives fine no prob at all, dumb bitch forgot to clear the CEL too

 

bank 1 is the sensor closer to the head.

when you accidentally revved it... did you bounce it off the limiter a few times? Were you holding your foot all the way to the floor?

 

no it didnt hit the limiter, and i wasnt holding all the way down

 

just go to the dealer and get it cleared, autozone wont clear it, they said its illigel, atleast that what they told me, just go to ur dealer tell'm it just turned on form nowhere, and they'll clear it...also running to rich just means to much fuel not enough air...but it will eventually go away on its own if you give it time, i know my ex gf did something somewhat similiar in mine, she was in 5th and was downshifting to 4th, yup she did what ur thinking, she made it to 2nd instead, the car bucked(veru fucken hard) and the RPM went to 8000rpm in whcih i told her to quicly kick in the clutch(instead of lettin it bring itself down), i was freaked out, once she put the cluth in i had her stop on the side of the road, i turned the car off, pooped the hood, let it cool down for a while, started it back up, rev'd it a bit, and went on my way(last time she ever drove my car too), i threw a CEL, got it cleared by my friend at the dealer(of the record too), he said it woulda cleared itself after a couple cycles

 

just unplug your battery for a min and plug it back it..

 

^^^yeah that too, that'll reset the the car completely, but note, ur oil life will be reset too, so if you use that to keep track, than you should just have it cleared...

yea i could, ive got nothing going tommorow, but i have to take the hemi to the stealership, my dad broke the seat back, it flew back on me the otherday when i was driving, almost **** my pants.

 

Our advance/autozone tell you to do it yourself and i checked and cleared a few of my friends cars before

but i had a problem bout a month ago (when i last had my license and was driving) my CEL came on and advance auto parts' thing (all 3 i went to) wouldnt read at all nor would the two autozones i went to. I havent tried to go back since and ive had my battery unhooked then rehooked it but tonite i ran to the gas station a few miles away to get a pack of smokes and left the car running (starter isnt workin, gotta catch it in gear) and my CEL came back on. that maybe from the starter?
