You will need to uninstall the B &M Shiftplus fist. Trifecta will tune the transmission for you.

You will only gain 5-10 Hp with a tune, but if you don't plan on doing any more performance mods to the car then the tune is the way to go.

If you think you will add more parts like header, downpipe, pulleys, cams or anything else then you need to wait to tune till after you install everything.

any "performance"/"bolt-on" modification you make to your car is not tuned for in the car stock ecu. each mod makes a difference in performance and need to be tuned for. so what every one is saying is that instead of getting the tune first and doing more bolt-ons later, get the bolt-ons now and THEN get tuned. this will allow your tune to be more precise with your mods.

if you get the computer tuned dont get the transmission tuned from trifecta you can leave the b&m shift plus on. but they can tune your transmission as well leaving no need for the shift plus.

and honestly just get the transmission tuned as well and ditch the b&m

Shift plus sucks compared to a tranny tune. The transmission tune comes with his package, so you might as well get it.

I've heard you can leave shift plus on, it does nothing to affect the timing of the shifts.

No, after a tune there's no reason to have it on.

I'm really not trying to sound like an ass here but I think you need to do a little more research before you start modding more. Your questions have already been answered in previous post. And as for the plugs don't go e3. You will be perfectly fine with the stock plugs unless you add NO2 or forced induction. My old 2.2 had full bolt ons with a tune on stock plugs with zero problems. Just trying to help you out. Research untill you're blue in the face because most of these topics have been discussed 100x over. Good Luck!

Well one step colder after he does a lot more won't really hurt but the stock plugs are actually quite good. 2 step colder definatly don't do unless you're boosted.

HPTuners does NOT support any model year L61 engine in the Cobalt. They never have.
