if you get the 2.4 mani before the tune it will raise your shift point by a few hundred rpm and yes it changes the shift points and kills the every"fuicking"gear overdive feature on the auto. nothing but a gear change will make the gears longer that's a mechanical issue.

i'm getting the laptop cable and tuning via email. i'll be able to tune whenever, wherever with an up link of course. vince is the **** and the tune does whatever you want the car to do. for instance my auto no longer has the neutral/park rev limit (it's a ricer thing) my shifts are smooth and firm enough to chirp the first/second shift at 3/4 throttle. the trifecta tune is pure sex.

most importantly you get more power.....muhahahahahahahahahahahahaha

Like I told the trifecta guys, I had a cavalier eco w/ built motor and turbo and I used HPT so I am quite familiar. I will just have to talk with them and see what they suggest

vince does the tuning with trifecta and sends it to you on a pda. if you get the laptop cable he'll send it via email and that opens you up to being able to retune when you need to without worrying about waiting on the tuner or needing to ship it back when your done.

it can remove SAI yes. but i dunno about 08's as far as i know he hasn't done one yet but shouldn't be much of a problem. if i wasn't concerned with warranty i would be all over it :P

I would still love to see someone get the tune and take the car to the dyno. Once without tune, and once with.

To see actual real world results.

I'm not doubting the tune at all, I'm just curious

would like to know this same thing also! would also be nice to keep a stock file so you can go back to stock for dealer visits under warranty :P and then tune it again when you get home
