turbo

im looking into getting a turbo kit sometime and i tried searching the forums and didnt feel like seraching through a 100+ page thread for some answers, i have an 05 LS thats AUTO and i was looking at the different stages and the alpha kit says that its for manual transmissions only soooooo...........can i get the gt tuner kit with a auto or should i not even bother with a kit an just build my motor up my own way like i was going to

the kits i was lookin at were from garret, should i look around if there are kits out there for less and give me more HP should i look into HAHN i have no clue

the garret kit will be fine just get the one that doesn't include the tuner and be prepared to buy your own injectors as well you'll need tuning from trifecta or you can go with the aem f/ic to run the car on boost. i'd suggest trifect if you haven't gotten tuned already. his tcm tune is the sex when it comes to running the auto cobalt.

where would i get this trifecta tune?? oh and if i were to get the garret turbo kit id get the gt tuner one, it has no ECU update which is only for manuals

how much would the HAHN turbo kit be? about the same as the gt tuner kit, 3100?

the hahn kit is 3499 and the garret gt tuner kit is 3199 so you'd be better of with the garret gt tuner version. you can get the trifecta tune through clear image in the vendors forum.

Hi there Hahn is just down the road from you practically. The only thing you are going to have to do differently by buying his kit or any kit is modify the way the boost piping is routed.

im in the same boat as u, but im prly gonna go supercharged. Doin a supercharger will b alot cheaper then a turbo but wit a turbo you'll b able to achieve alot more HP. also when it comes to the install an S/C will b way easier

you need to get a gt28, gt30, or gt32...those work the best on our cars...with stock internals...i run a gt28....its a fast spool with zero lag
