i have a 2006 2.2l 5ps wit 50000 miles on it.
If i wanted to turbo does anyone have a list of parts. and i could only run around 7lbs of boost. and how much approx whp would that give me?

 

you can run safe between 7-10lbs...but it depends on the size of ur turbo and set up too. Plus you would need a custum tune...unless you went with the garrett alpha kit. And an average kit would prob give you 220hp--there kids running 248whp i think it was mkurley or wutever.

 

i understand about the tune. does any one have a list of parts for piecing thiere own turbo kit together for this car.

Turbo-i suggest T3
Turbo Manifold-there is many out there but Cast Iron on Ebay is cheapest and its a good manifold for the price
External wastegate-I suggest 38MM size with spring set at 7-9 lbs of boost
downpipe-muffler shop can hook ya up
Intercooler/piping-i suggest the ebay one its a good one for low boost applications.also i would get the one with the Blow off Valve flange already welded in the pipiing
Oil feed/return lines-vulcan makes some or you can get the ebay kit but get braided for sure
Oil pan Tap for oil line
Blow off valve
Injectors-There are many kinds...SS/SC one with harness or the stage 2 ones but u need the harness with them also
Trifecta tune
better plugs

oh and a air filter and some major elbow GREASE
