what's the chances a reflash will fix this?

car has been dead for couple days charged the batt. and this popped up . car is a l61 sc Trifecta tuned

 

U codes are for network problems, is the car running? If your not having issues just ignore it. Probably set from the low battery.

 

well the car isn't shifting correctly (auto) even when I select a gear it will not work. and power steering light is on

 

Sounds like a network problem, maybe. I don't for sure but I believe the steering is in the bcm and the trans obviously has it's own computer. Might be tme to get a wiring diagram and start tracing the harness...

 

i just fixed this problem its from the transmission control module. some how it got fried its the piece located in front of the fuse box in engine bay. costs about 60 bucks. I had a powerstearing light come on no traction controll, the car would not shift up past like second gear, no outside temp, no speed . Chevy wanted to give drop my transmission and look inside I said NO THANKS, went home bought the peice used from ebay and popped it in. Worked like a charm no codes no nothing
