Are you sure it was the 2.2 because the Stage 2 for the 2.0 includes those things, except with a smaller S/C pulley instead of an underdrive pulley?

I have my doubts about this....but if its true thats cool, cuz that means Gm has something planned for us 2.2s (why else would they include bigger injectors?)

i'd be wiling to take the injectors if they were 42lbs'ers...but i dont see the need for the bigger injectors f their just going to make some smaller pullies

See if you can find the part number so I can check at my local dealer for the upgrade kit.

probably, if you people want a pulley you don't want an underdrive anyways, get a lightweight pulley. Idk about comp control engines but for example on my mustang, with underdrive pullies at idle you can see that your headlights are dimmer, and your water pump don't turn as fast so your not as cool, but thats on a carb'ed V8, idk what the effects would be on one of our engines because i have never even taken the time to learn about our engines but i don't think it is something GM would warranty .

not to mention the vibes...

the harmonic balancer is built in, im sure on an aftermarket pulley, there is no harmonic dampener.

I had SFI underdrive pulleys on my 01 GT and I couldn't notice an effect like you mentioned but it was fuel injected and you said carbed so I have no idea.

A couple months ago there was a rumor on here floating around from one of the GM Engineerings that GM was making a kit for the 2.2 that included Lightweight pulleys, injectors, and a performance tune, w/ another tune for N20. I'm trying to find it but I had heard about this and it's not just a LSJ Stage Kit.

Whats the Part Number so I can have some sources look it up.

i really doubt this as the 2.2 is not in anyway performance oriented. but we shall see.

underdrive makes thing get less power. an example is the supercharger pulleys. the smaller the pulley, the faster it spins (overdriving it). a bigger puley makes it spin slower (underdriveing the supercharger).

if the crank pulley is smaller, it doesnt provide the belt with as much speed.

if it was bigger it would overdrive everything attached to the system.

and thanks for the complement
