i'm not sure on the answers to your questions but are you looking for cheap or inexpensive. anything "cheap" will tend to be poor quality and bad fitment. inexpensive will usually maintain a decent amount of quality.

You're either going to pay good money up front for the kit and it'll fit fairly well right out of the box and be cheap to fit and install. OR you're going to buy an "inexpensive" kit that is warped and fits like crap so you'll spend a fortune trying to make it look good. You'll be no farther ahead either way.

You'll probably get more help if you put this in the appearance section, but as said above the rk sport kit is the nicest kit imo.

I work in Autobody/Collision industry and I'll let you in on some information about body kits.

There NO body kit unless it's $5000 that will fit properly. Don't feel bad I get this question all the time and that's why I would never buy a body kit for my cobalt.
All of the $500 to $1000 kits will cost you countless hours of custom fiberglass work/fittment just to be able to install it.

Then you have to paint it all which in the end you'll be at around $3000 to $3500
After about 1-2 years most less expensive body kits will crack, fade and begin to look like **** making you regret you ever put it in there.

I love the look of the BC2 body kit don't get me wrong but I would say your money would be better spent somewhere else.

Just my 2cents

***** not cheap thats why im leaving my cobalt alone

Dont get any body kit. The only good "kit" or body upgrades are the JP Vizage kit. Its just a front lip, side skirts, and rear lip. Still looks sick, fits better than a whole different bumper, and does scream rice. It is kind of expensive though.

SS stuff is all direct fit btw, thats why so many people do that.
