yea im reading alot that the lsj header is a waist of time and stuff.
wouldnt it also be better to go with an aftermarket header? i think thats what i would want to do bc i dont really liek buying stuff used and all that.

and i deff want to tune for everything. i may skip the 2.4 im and tb for now but eventually get it.

So, it's your parents' car. If you have title to it then you can do whatever you want involving the LS

Ehh, I only have HPT standard, so to read a WB we'd have to wire it into your a/c pressure sensor.

the thing ive noticed on 07+ L61 is that they have a less aggressive cam profile than earlier L61's which is shown on this thread https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/2-0l...-sheet-127726/

and ive been looking at dyno graphs of pre-07 L61s and they seem to have a torque surge around 4000 rpm and fall hard at about 5500 rpm to redline. with the later l61s i think the powerband is moved later in the rpm range and that shows in its 3 hp increase over the previous one but makes 3 less tq as well. ive also noticed that with my 08 as mine doesnt feel like it has that surge and it also doesnt really fall too hard after 5.5k either. haha what im getting at is that i think the 2.4 manifold isnt as beneficial on your 2008 as it is on the previous models. prob still a good investment but not as large gains. first i would stick with header dp and exhaust especially dp.

Cobalt Addiction has a stainless steel header that is compatible with SAI. I'm in the same boat because i have SAI lol. And they say you do not need to reprogram for it and best of all it's stainless steel so it would last forever. With that, you can buy the ZZP downpipe if you wish and you do not need to tune the SAI out of your computer.

Can vouch for this kit. It is top notch work my friend has one on his SS. Also stainless steel and it gives the exhaust a bit more of a throaty tone. My friend also has the Corsa Touring cat back and his car sounds pretty nasty when he floors it. But you already have a cat back.

Personally i have not bought anything from them and i have heard about the things you have stated. I guess if you do not care about customer service or how long it takes to get it then get it. BTW what rims are on your car they look really nice. Im looking to get a set of rims for mine sometime soon.
